That is the plan Eric after I get home from vacation
Well I bit the bullet yesterday while shooting and brought home a Glock 19 Gen4 on Saturday - the VP9 is a super nice feeling pistol in the hand - problem is I have small hands and the Glocks just feel natural to me - in addition, a drawback of my small hands is HK 's paddle release, it's too short (Walther's almost extends to the middle of the trigger guard) for me and I obviously can't drop it with my thumb so in the shop I was awkwardly curving my middle finger a lot, and dexterity wise, it's just more natural for a traditional button mag release to operate one handed.
If the paddle extended out a bit more to not make it awkward for my hands, I probably would have taken it home yesterday. Lighter trigger out of the box than my Glocks, but he break and reset aren't as crisp and well defined as my Glocks or my PPQ -
And obviously since I own the subcompact Glock it's nice to have an interchangeable system -
My small hands is my problem for me, I looked at a full sized G21 in .45 ACP but it feels like I'm handling a T bone steak to me - it's a beast of a pistol but just too large to feel comfortable to me.
Next year with my GSSF I'll look into adding a single stack 43 and possibly letting it be my wife's. Or maybe if they have a G36 Gen4 by then.
I can't wait to pick up the Sport II however in a couple weeks
