We had warranty direct and they to the tune of 11-12'ish...
However, I recommended it to a bro-in-law and WD seems to have changed their policy or way of handeling it. Granted, it's all up to adjusters and stuff, but now they cover rebuilt parts, used parts from junkers, etc.
My experience with them was completely opposite. All OE parts, etc. YMMV
