I have great success using the Mediabridge product. My MID is faulty. I set it to CD, wired it up and now everything works flawlessly through my iphone 5, steering wheel works and it has a mic for hands free calls. So much for replacing the MID. Oh, and I can use my data for news, etc with LTE signal..
