Never trade a vehicle in, that's just like buying new. Handing money to the dealer that you could be putting in your own pocket. It takes very little effort to make thousands more than trade-in values.
Also, the vehicle will be repaired and tested to a higher standard than purchased. Fresh fuel pump, fresh injectors, fuel rail will most likely be replaced, plus fuel system flush and servicing, much better than when I bought it.
