The injectors bench tested fine, minus one injector. Bosch has an in house remanufacturing program and sells new-spec reman injectors for 70% of the retail new injector price. Picked one injector up, had all of the rest cleaned and set up with fresh copper, cleaned the fuel rail and all hard lines with combination brake cleaner, carb cleaner, and a final rinse with diesel.

Then, as luck would have it, when I brought the injectors back to BMW to be installed, our tech quit. So it fell out off the schedule until the shop foreman can repair it. Hoping Tuesday to hear something. Have high hopes, but this plan relies on the fuel filter to deal with sediment for a month or two. Will be doing a couple filter swaps quickly and cutting the filter to inspect the results.
