Lockout kit comes with a plastic wedge to open the door slightly, then they stick an inflatable bladder in the small space created by the wedge. Inflate the bag with the little hand pump bulb and it will create an opening large enough to accommodate a rod that comes in the kit for pressing the unlock button. We used to use them all the time at the indy I worked at.
