I had to use some small pointy wood type screws of a similar length to those provided. They were a little wider too get the biggest you can fit in the stock holes up the upper corners of the hU. The machine screws they provide won't work there is nothing for them to grab on to. The small wood screws will grab the side of the plastic frame. Hope this helps you.
