I love my first 4 wheel drive beemer, but I recently had all the ABS and 4x4 lights start coming and going. 140k miles. I lose the cruise control of course and ABS when this happens. Took it to the dealer and they found metal in the oil. 2000 dollars later and a new t case, same issues. If it sits overnight, jump in, no lights, good 4x4 and cruise control. Stop and turn it on and off one time and for the rest of the day, all lights, no 4x4 and no cruise. Trying to avoid the 150 dollar diag fee for more guesses from them. Any ideas? Please help me stop the "I told you not to buy a beemer! " comments. HaHa.
