Couldn't resist this deal - TacSol barrels usually sell for $250 on their own, with MidwayUSA promotion going on today I got the TacSol barrel and Hogue Takdedown Stock kit for my Ruger 10/22 for $280 shipped ($30 off $300 coupon, I threw in $5 worth of targets to get the cart over $300)
What a bargain! I actually have a Hogue stock already which was a "factory blemish" bought at half price, but now I will have Hogue on both barrels (and a "factory first" stock this time) and won't have to remove the forend to swap barrels out (although I probably will rarely use the factory barrel unless maybe at a distance with an optic)

- thanks for the recommendation, it really is a fine pistol out of the box! The compact is perfect size as its 9 rounds as opposed to the Full's 10, so you aren't giving up much at all in capacity! If it was the PPQ's 12 rd in 45 vs the 9 I'm getting in Compact, I would have considered a Full - Got myself a 3rd mag, and it has Siglite (Meprolight) sights out of the box which are pretty decent!
