and to the wheel alignment concern, that is because I know my wheels will need balancing and probably aligning. been a little shaky when driving down the motorways. but besides it was just a suggestion that maybe someone could correct me on that part and say that will have nothing to do with it. If you have worn suspension components, the wheel alignment shop will not be able to do a correct alignment. They will inform you that you need to have the components replaced and their charges will probably a lot higher than if you did the work yourself or shopped around.

Replacing suspension components normally requires an alignment afterward so you will just have to do another alignment when you replace components.

Best time to do an alignment is when you buy new tires or after a suspension rebuild.
