If your window clips or regulators haven't been addressed recently - you need 2x BMW black plastic window clips from the dealer, plus 2 of the "slider clips" per side -

The plastic gets brittle from years of use, do it proactively before it fails - I repaired both sides and the windows are tight as can be, I got my "slider clips" from RegulatorFix.com for $12 / pair and the BMW window clips were $3 or $4 so for $20 per side and a couple hours of work -
