Thanks for the suggestion. I've done some hunting and don't really like my options.
I can shave a new one from Tire Rack and be about $400-$450 out the door on one tire, 50% worn. Alternately I can buy a set of new Conti Extremecontact DSWs for $1200. It's a 300% price jump, but it puts me on new all-season tires in a day or two rather than used summer tires in a week.
EDIT/UPDATE: Ordered the Contis.
