As far as I know the MP covers the engine compartment pair of filters and the recirc one isnt touched -

I will know tomorrow when we get my wifes 35D back as they were changing them out and doing brake flush under the MP while it was in for diagnostics on a CEL (ended up being NOX sensors) and a whining noise from the trans which apparently was a failing PS pump -
