Ditto the answers above....the N62 is a completely differnt engine vs the M62/M62TU.

Timing chain guides is NOT an issue with the N62...just like it's not an issue with the M54. The N62 is a different beast with its own special faults.

And to add to the N62 issues...would be the "intermediate levers"....a google search using "BMW N62 intermediate levers" should bring up some results as to what can occur on cold starts.
