I used the same size rotors that were in the original X5 StopTech kit. They're 355x32mm on all 4 corners. Of course, the rear need no work from the original kit.
For the fronts. the shop did the hard part of making a bracket to work. It was made easier for them since they had the adapter original bracket supplied with the 4 caliper kit from StopTech. They needed to understand where the caliper ought to go from the original bracket and create one that would align with the new six pots. There was some doubt about whether they could get it done, but the machine shop they use got creative and made a bracket. I *think* I have a sh!tty pic of that from the shop. It's sh!tty cause they were so happy to have it done, they just sent a quick pic on the way from the machine shop.
I should note here as well that the 6 pot kit I got was for an M3. They never made one for an X5 in that size. This is important for any potential purchaser because it means that the fronts do NOT come with hats or rotors. These would have to be ordered from StopTech and I'm betting they're not cheap. Of course, the price for the kit- fronts without rotors/hats and rear complete- will take this omission into consideration.
I need to go clean that old kit for pics and to clarify what comes with it as I put the fronts up for sale.
