I think it raised it ever so slightly, maybe a few hundred rpms. I didn't have the before number so I can't say definitively.

Thanks for letting me know, I just found it odd because I never used them. The oil filter housing gasket ring was also white not the usual black I am used too. I'll continue to stick with MANN filters.
