As long as the side trim looks/f1ts to your liking, that's what counts.

It's basically rubber with a metal channel - tabbed. That channel sits onto the sides of your windshield. Once you pull it off....the tension changes per se. You can squeeze the sides of the metal to make it tight, tigther - it's just not uber tight as original IMO.

If you find you still don't like the slop factor, you can always remove it from the bottom windshield, squeeze the channel so it's touch tighter and then refit it back on the windshield.
