Lowering humidity is the only thorough route. Humidifier is great. I would run it for 2-3 days when you aren't using your X. Heat can help but heat and water increase humidity so it will take longer to be effective. Running the air conditioner does lower the humidity. Set it on max cooling so it doesn't draw in outside air. How long it will take depends on how much water got in so you will need to be able to check the humidity when it is closed up and hasn't been running for several hours. Get it dry ASAP. Once mold starts it is a much bigger problem.
