The e53 X5 doesn't use the MOST bus. It is either the older BMW KOMBI-BUS (low cluster/low MID set-up)...or the I, K, M, P, CAN, Dianostic BUS (high cluster/high MID or Nav).

The MOST bus is found on new generation BMWs starting with the e90 (3 series), e60 (5 series), e63 (6 series), e65/e66 & series, e70 X5, etc.
