I've used many mounts and I personally like the vent mounts the best. Right now, like basilray, I'm using a vent mount magnetic mount. Very nice and convenient. You just get in your car, place your phone on the mount and you're done. No need to adjust anything. I too put the mount in the driver's vent to the right of the steering wheel, under the Idrive screen.
