I noticed last night, when the cars got a bath. You could see the surface area of the wiper, and while the unwiped portion was filthy area with road/rain film and all, the wiper surface area was not bare clean glass.

I've got another new volvo blade. Just gotta wait till it rains to compare/contrast.
Not that noticable if one if just wiping clean glass
