The Canbus on the E53 was not designed to handle such a feature.

Ricky Bobby is right. The module is called modLight2 and I just installed it. I programmed the triple blink to 5 blinks and it works 98% of the time. I have had it not accept the command several times for no apparent reason. What I have noticed is that at night with the lights on, the command works but it dims the dash illumination for 8 seconds. It may be tied to the city lights feature that is tied to that function programming selection.(Right fog light on with right turn signal for 8 seconds, left fog light on with left turn signal for 8 seconds0. You have the choice to select city lights or triple blink. It also will not work with the fog lights on. All in all, for $50, it is an OK device but as Ricky Bobby points out, the
iBus was not designed to have those commands.
