So you made me double check the possibility of using the original tweeter mounts with the JL C2-600 tweeters...After removing the factory tweeter from the mount the JL tweeter is still too large to fit in without modification to mount. So I did what Prop did but then had to slice open the side and then silicone the inside and press in the JL tweeter in.
Now I'm happier. I have to remove the door card anyhow so I may as well remove the other JL tweeters I just have sitting in the styrafoam and use the mounts
