I'm sure the OP is referring to the handles you use to open and close doors from the inside of the car. They have grey plastic inserts that chipped and now he is trying to refresh them.
Probably the best way to order new ones if they're not that expensive or paint them with a close enough aerosol can and clear coat over that.
Or wrap them...
