3. Try and find a shop that can rebuld a ZF transmission. NOT THAT YOU NEED A REBUILD, we dont know that yet. But such a shop will have the experience to troubleshoot your car. As has been stated above, there is plenty of diagnostic data for a qualified ZF tech to pinpoint your issue. Stop with BMW dealers.

I hear you loud and clear. Thank you kindly Ard for the valuable advice.
I've already found couple of ZF specialist transmission shops, I'll drop by and see what they tell me. I've already ordered an INPA reading thingy in order to see what really is going on. Problem is shops will be closed until Tuesday the following days are bank holidays here.
I found this interesting:

" 3rd or 5th failsafe/ default mode.
A TCM temperature out of range can create this. Check cooler and air flow"
Ive only seen ratio monitoring clutch E and C errors, and thats after a lot of driving. In my previous posts I was wondering if somethings wrong with the oil cooler, since my Coolant fluid level drops very fast (1 liter every month, maybe coolant leak near the oil cooler?), causing the tranny to overheat. When the BMW dealer dropped the pan to change seals and trans oil didnt mention coolant mixed into the old fluid though.

Dunno
If I had an issue with the solenoids, shouldn't the failsafe pop up in low speeds and short drives as well?
