was looking online and it looks like equivalent fluid for an 01 3.0 automatic transmission is dextron VI??

I had to replace the transmission reservoir this weekend as it had a hairline crack along the bottom and I wanted to obviously make sure its topped off....but I want to use a correct equivalent fluid. just looking for confirmation is all.
