X5Flyboy - nothing wrong with a Shield - theres a reason S&W has sold something like 2 Million of them - I am a huge fan of the newer 45 Shield, as it has the M&P 2.0 grip texture (so much better) and with the Magguts conversion soon you should be able to get 7+1 in that flush magazine -
With the $75 rebate from S&W right now you can get a 9Shield for like $240 and a 45 for like $275 - I have debated getting one just because its stupid cheap - Apex Trigger and some Trijicons and you are gtg with them -
Crimson Trace was bought by S&W recently as well so hopefully some lasers for the newer 45 coming down the pipe too -
