I am not sure what the deal is then. I suppose I can try turning the bulbs the other way round and see if that makes a difference. But I can't think of a reason it would...

I'll also check my coding to see what is turned on or off.
I installed a set of
these to complete my LED signal conversion. The LED and reflector quality on them is on point. VERY visible and directional unlike most cheap LED sidemarkers. I
believe these are the same ones for sale by Bimmian and Jlevi but at half the cost.
The only downside to these is the metal spring that pressure fits into the fender to hold it in place. They are cheaply pressure-fit inserted with no catch into the LED housing so as soon as some pressure is put on during installation they pop right out and into your fender.

An hours worth of fishing down in there with a magnet later including 3 failed install attempts (including supergluing the springs in place) I said F this and cut the OEM spring catches out of the OEM housings. They include a pin that catches onto a slit in the housing to prevent it from coming out of the slot. I drilled a small hole to mimic this and put the OEM springs in with a satisfying "click" as the little pin caught in the slit. No more problems after that.
