I have to disagree. The 6HP26 is pretty solid and can be saved unless you drive it to total failure. Slipping can usually be fixed with 2 consecutive fluid changes, filter, gaskets, and most importantly new solenoids for the valve body. The N62 engine is equally solid. Leaks like crazy but if you change your seals it can last forever. This car, even with 240k miles could have been restored for not much money for a DIY guy.
