If you have Rhein gold working, run the tests for the scr heaters. I've seen mine not turn off, drawing 9000ma. Funny when I reseated the connectors on the ecu it didn't draw anymore but then I got a code for it not working! Rheingold showed it not going on... Reseated again after cleaning contacts and it worked off and on. Honestly, I feel like electrical devices these days lack quality and robustness. Put that together with bmw's overly sensitive and badly tested code, brings you ghosts in the machine!

Also with that wet foam, remove it for good.... It's asking for problems with inj 5 and/or 6. Both of mine just started quitting on me to the point of stalling. One was shorted 20 ohms to ground! Check them, should be at least 500kohm or infinity to ground...
