AHH...your image didn't show when I replied above...the site you have the image uploaded to must not have passed my employees net nanny.
Now that I'm on my phone...I can see the pic...the 11 digit BMW part number is
84 11 6 946 993 & the build date is
6/10/04 ...which falls within the date range of TCUs that do not support BT (as mentioned in the posted article of BMWs that incorrectly suggested they did support BT...but actually
do not .
Look for a TCU with build date of 10/04-up. If you click the link below...you can see a long list of TCUs that support BT in the part nbr index below the diagram (see items for #1)...the list contains current & no longer produced nbrs. ... but can still be found in the used market...again, look for dates used from Oct 2004-up:
