Nice choice.
The full size P320 45acp was in the running when I picked up the PPQ 45, RX pkg would have put it in my collection.
Now that we are seeing the results of the ex-Kimber execs getting control at Sig (and changing the business model & structure/production controls/vendor requirements, oversite), surface finishes flaking off chambers after a few 100 rds, premium prices for CereKote slide finishes that wear off after ONE DAY of going in and out of Kydex holsters (due to old product usage, this stuff has to be used within a few weeks after production, or lack of oversite/verification the application process is adhered to). Applied wrong, Cerakote is like enamel paint.
Avoid the "special" chamber coating and slide finishes from Sig until they sort out the problems.
The "base" P320 is a good gun that avoids all the issues at this time. The "base" P320/P320RX design/finishes/materials will carry Sig well into the 21 century. Sig needs to not "fake the funk on a nasty dunk" with this platform.
Sig and Glock have "lost a step" among German handgun manufacturers.
Got 4 more Walther/Mec-Gar mags and hit the range yesterday, ran 200rds thru the PPQ in under 1 hr, flawless operation. Walking in the door with 72 rds mag ready, and the UpLULA loader on hand, makes ammo go quick.
This gun is now my EDC, with 2 mags backing up the one in the gun.
