FWIW, be precise with the 'things' you(se) are discussing...a "CIC" isn't a module. Nor is a 'CIC iDrive'.

Find the PDF floating around that describes the nav/entertainment system. It will have the right terms. MOST importantly, it will show the block diagrams as to what feeds/controls what- based on what does and doesn't work, narrow it down from there.


OP, what are you asking? Are you a DIYer with a computer, cable, ISTA, NCSExpert, etc etc? Or jsut 'maybe a fuse I can check before heading to the dealer'? It is helpful to let people know what you as asking for AND what level of help you require


One question: do you get ANY audio whatsoever? Warnings, tones, chimes, etc.
