It's not a difficult procedure to replace the battery. Some relatively easy soldering and finding the correct rechargeable battery. I have to replace those same bushings but I have upgraded my bearing press from 12 to over 30T after stripping three drive bolts while replacing front wheel bearings. They say heating to the point the rubber starts to melt it the key to removing if the bushing doesn't have a metal ring around it
