Yup, they will work. Yes they still break.

They are made in Germany and marked as so right on the part.

They occasionally are harder to install (screw hole doenst line up), they are a bit less smooth in opertion, and they break a bit earlier than originals.

I've since gone back to OE for this part. Just personal preferrence, the Febi is perfectly serviceable.

This is based off my limited sample of around four Febis and 3 OEs.
