Unfortunately, it just delays the shift a little in Sport mode... Manual at full throttle will work until it decides it needs to shift back into 1st despite my commands...
This is really blowing my mind... If you rule out the logical, whatever is left MUST be the answer to the problem... The DME and wiring are the only two things left that I can logically associate to the issue... Could the DME programming be corrupted, but only associated to the transmission gears? I think that would be a stretch to believe...
A little good news is that I think I found a decent priced trans... We'll see if it works out... I need to get some 2004 and up parts still, but most I already have...
If I don't have to work tomorrow night, I'm going to the YPIY and get the TCM and DME from the vehicle I pulled the engine/trans/transfer case from and reprogram both of them to Whitney... IF that doesn't work, it's getting a manual conversion...
