I am only too happy to report my ignorance was responsible for the lack of heat! Thanks for suggesting the obvious!
As an incidental benefit, I learned how to access the hidden menu, nice to be able to do this!
Now I can return to the existing punch list of CCV, rear license lamp problems, replacing window clips, fixing washer leak......
