The dealer replaced a driving light on our old E53 THREE times (under warranty). The 2nd time the light failed before I got home from the dealer. So they replaced that unit too! Eventually the SA believed what I had been telling him all along. The problem was in the wiring where the individual power lead entered the connector. FWIW I knew that because I could get the light to work temporarily if I wiggled the connector.

After I complained, we were “assigned” a new (and very good) SA
