As I'm approaching 100k miles, I was curious how things were looking inside my engine. I ordered an oil analysis report for my last oil change, which was a 5,000 mile run of Castrol EDGE 0W-40.
This is my daily driver and is driven 90% city (short trips) and 10% highway. The oil appears to be unphased and could certainly go longer than 5,000 miles. Overall, I'm satisfied considering this is the cheapest readily available LL-01 approved oil out there. I'd go as far to say it's the best "euro" (LL-01, A40, 229.5) oil available.
