Did take this switch off transmission. Bench tested with an ohm meter. Values all over the place. Removed the rivets, and opened it up. Surprisingly clean inside, but can see wearing. Decided not to play any longer with this. Purchased a used unit. Bench tested. Values were rock solid. Installed the switch. I've been driving now without the trans failsafe mode being displayed. Slowly working all the kinks out of this rascal, it is an enjoyable beast though. Aargh! Driving to work this morning a "DING" sound and a message displayed on the cluster. Oh no, I didn't want to look...Outside Temperature 37 Degrees. Phew
