I would say that particular one doesn't look that good but is certainly better than nothing when you're down a few PSI. This one from Sears is bigger but looks much better at the same price. I would avoid anything rechargeable. I know the Costco one is also corded but it just looks like it would be good for inflating your kid's pool toys and soccer balls but not tires.

I have a similar one that I keep in the right side compartment of the X5. It's great for emergencies. I bought the $80 All-Trade 3HP/5 gallon air compressor. It's plenty good for inflating tires and doing light airtool jobs. I even use it with a pistol attachment to blow excess water out of the trim areas after bathing the X5.
