2008 had Crapple support as an option. I used to sync my friends iphone with my old 08. That said it is only for music playback that is on your phone not streaming.

Kaput was correct. You need to do a combox upgrade which I do not think is possible without CIC iDrive. Meaning 2008 has a DVD based CCC Navigation/iDrive. The CIC Hard Drive Navigation/iDrive was introduced in 2010 and the Streaming audio was sometime later....I believe on later model LCI E70's.
