Just an FYI: BT music streaming (A2DP) didn't come to market until 2010...which is why, as mentioned above, you need the newer combox that came with the late build 2010 models.

Sometimes its easy to forget that BT music streaming didn't come at the same time of BT telephony. BT telephony first came to BMWs in mid to late 2004 (as the 2005 model year began). Then A2DP (bluetooth music streaming) developmental technology came approximately 5 years later.
