Show us a picture of the tread on your tires if you can.

There are many factors that can contribute to uneven wear on tires. One of them is camber, which all BMW's come with to help with better handling. The rear tires will wear quicker than the fronts, you can swap the rear tires side-to-side every oil change to get longer wear.

Also, main thing is to make sure your alignment is up to date (a least once a year) and suspension are in good working order, worn bushings or bent control arms can cause alignment to be out of wack and cause accelerated wear.
