How are the vacuum lines damaged, holes/splits?
I took a bunch of pictures, but can't resize them easily enough to be bothered with posting them. The casing is frayed in probably a dozen spots, but I can't (easily) find any place where it's obviously through the rubber lining. The wear looks to be from contact and vibration, primarily, exacerbated by heat around the turbo and exhaust.

I pulled and cleaned that line. It's well clear, but it seems that the rigid-to-rubber crimp is loose. It might seat with pressure? Maybe that's my vacuum leak...
