Well, *that* was a harrowing 6-700 miles today!
I ended up finding the southern band of snow through my trip south today. A few slip and slides (some at speed) were met with the intrepid butt cheek clinch one might expect if they were in a brand new BMW.
Put another way, I did not expect snow this far South on my trip, so I found myself seeking that balance between time and caution. I needed to clear the weather before nightfall, so I needed to GTFO of where I was. I was *very* happy I'd chosen to replace the worn rears I bought this time last year. But, I made the scheduled buddy pickup and we're safely south of the frozen weather. Warmer temps are on the horizon.
I have more to talk ab. Specifically the difference from cold weather starts, performance, and impressions from long stretches of driving. But I am tired. Tomorrow. From warmer weather!
