I’ve always wondered why BMW didn’t provide the option to turn off the door locking/unlocking part of Comfort Access i.e. CA Lite.

FWIW we opted out of CA when we had our 2009 35d built, because the only part of CA we really want(ed) is the Start/Stop with keys in a pocket/purse. Back then there were reports of owners w/CA waking to finding their doors unlocked and sunroofs open after an overnight rain
