Crowz will become famous soon enough
As a foot note I am replacing the alternator on my daughters 528i.

So while working on it I couldn't pass up it having dsp so I connected my radio to her cars dash connector with dsp and it worked for 30 seconds or so and cut off.

Applying 12 volts to the amp lead on the factory connector made the sound stay on.....

Then the fight ensued......

Daughter didn't want to go back to her broken led mid radio.

But at least if you don't have nav you definitely don't need anything special to do dsp and the seicane like I have.

Wish I had a nav car to work with local here that has dsp.

Good thing I didn't throw away the pig tail they sent with the radio that does the other plug. I have that if anyone ever needs a pinout of it for a mid type install.

On a sound quality note it was pretty quiet compared to my non dsp x5 but I think that was because I don't have the dsp license for the app and I don't have the ibus adapter installed on her car. So no way of controlling the dsp itself.
