Have just followed your instructions as I couldn't get my v3i to sync the phone book and it worked fine although i had to send them accross one at a time. Fine all morning and then stopped and started the car again and the phone book shows empty again. aaaargh!
I'm assuming that when the phone connected again it deleted the entries i'd keyed in manually? is there any way to stop it deleting them out again once you've input them?
