I don't think you necessarily need to reset adaptations if only changing fluid since your not changing any clearances the adaptation will adjust the little bit it might need to for the new fluid. The fluid wear code will not turn on a warning light as mentioned previuosly, and will need to be reset(if it bothers you) as the processor can not tell if new fluid has been installed.
